1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 lb. Ground turkey
1 Small yellow onion, diced, about 1 cup
1 Tbsp Minced fresh ginger
1 Tbsp Minced garlic
2 cups Shredded cabbage
1 cup Shredded carrots
1/4 cup Low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp Brown sugar
1 bag Wonton strips, optional
Minced green onions, optional
Sesame seeds, optional
Sriracha or chili, optional
Sauté ground turkey, onion, ginger and garlic in oil til the turkey is cooked through.
Drain any liquid from the pan, then add the cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, sugar and remaining sesame oil and cook another few minutes.
